Daily Camera : What to Do in Boulder Tonight

February 10, 2012

Though he’s not the same real-life whistleblower that inspired the cigarette-industry-expose “The Insider,” Victor DeNoble did blow the whistle on the powerful interests that promoted the smoking industry. He’s the central figure in the new documentary “Addiction Incorporated: The true story of the Tobacco companies’ commitment to addicting the human brain,” which receives its local premiere with screenings at The Boedecker, in the Dairy Center for the Arts at 2590 Walnut St., Boulder, at 6:30 p.m. tonight and 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets to the film cost $9. Find out more at thedairy.org. This is a smoke-free presentation.
